Complex moves. One accountable project team.
Complete planning, transport and on-site coordination for depot, warehouse, office, commercial and industrial relocations—from individual assets to multi-stage operational moves.
A controlled move, not a collection of bookings
Moving a depot, warehouse, office or operational facility is a live business project. Every vehicle, asset, work area and destination must be sequenced around safety, access, continuity and the date the new site needs to function.
Foley Logistics can manage the relocation as one coordinated operation. We plan the movement program, allocate suitable vehicles and crews, coordinate site contacts, track progress and manage exceptions from the first collection through to final placement.
The scope can cover machinery, equipment, palletised freight, office assets, workshop contents, storage systems, vehicles and specialised units—supported by courier vehicles through to heavy rigid trucks, crane trucks, prime movers, tautliners and larger trailer combinations where assessed and suitable.
Complete project coordination
Assess locations, asset categories, dimensions, handling needs, access conditions, operating constraints and destination readiness.
Build a staged movement schedule around business priorities, shutdown windows, handovers and critical-path activities.
Match courier, flatbed, Pantech, crane-truck, semi, prime-mover and specialist capability to each movement.
Coordinate project contacts, loading areas, traffic flow, movement sequencing, unloading and handover requirements.
Plan around Chain of Responsibility, load restraint, vehicle suitability, site controls and task-specific risks.
Maintain agreed status information, photographs, proof of delivery, exception reporting and completion records.
Built around operational continuity
Fleet depth for complex programs
Urgent files, parts, boxed assets, keys and smaller priority movements.
Protected transport for office assets, equipment and staged commercial freight.
Pallets, general freight, machinery and loads requiring flexible side or crane access.
Transport and mechanical placement for suitable equipment and project assets.
Higher-volume movements and commercial freight across active relocation stages.
Larger consolidated loads, machinery and long-distance project movements.
Fork-on, fork-off support where site handling and access requirements suit the task.
Larger trailer configurations, including B-double capability where legally suitable, available and agreed.
Disciplined execution
Define sites, assets, timing, constraints, stakeholders and business-continuity priorities.
Validate weights, dimensions, handling, access, destination readiness and risk controls.
Build a movement plan around shutdowns, critical assets, teams and operational handovers.
Allocate the project manager, compliance support, vehicles, operators and site resources.
Control collections, transport, progress communication, exceptions and placement.
Confirm completion, records, outstanding items, returns and final project handover.
Recent government relocation
Foley Logistics recently coordinated the successful relocation of Tweed Shire Council’s headquarters and depot operations. The project required detailed planning, strong communication and careful coordination across vehicles, specialised units, equipment, staff and management.
More than 20 vehicles and specialised units formed part of the wider relocation scope alongside equipment, staff and management requirements.
The relocation was successfully completed two full weeks ahead of the planned schedule.
Foley coordinated the operation from project planning and fleet allocation through to on-site execution and completion.
A diverse fleet was used throughout the relocation, including crane trucks, prime movers, Pantechs, semi-forklifts, courier vehicles and specialist transport equipment. Each resource was sequenced around the operational plan so the right capability arrived at the right stage.
The result demonstrated Foley Logistics’ ability to manage a significant government relocation with multiple workstreams, changing operational requirements and a firm completion objective.
Leadership and control
Large relocations need clear authority and defined responsibilities. Foley Logistics can structure a project team around the scope, with up to 30 Foley Logistics employees and up to 15 full-time subcontractors available for major project requirements.
Final staffing is confirmed against the program, work areas, equipment, competencies, shifts and site-specific controls.
Tier 1 and government ready
One operating plan, one project lead and one agreed escalation pathway across the relocation.
Movement sequencing is built around access, operational priorities and destination readiness.
Fleet and personnel can be increased around major stages, peak movement periods and critical handovers.
Vehicle, load, driver, site and Chain of Responsibility requirements are considered before dispatch.
Dispatch, project leadership, crews and client contacts operate through an agreed communication structure.
Backup fleet planning and operational escalation help manage breakdowns, delays and changing priorities.
Plan the move before the first vehicle arrives
Tell us what is moving, where it is going, when the new operation must be ready and what cannot stop during the transition. Foley Logistics can assess the scope and develop a staged relocation plan.
